On and off grid solar panel system design.
1. On-Grid Solar System: Connected to Grid: An on-grid system is directly connected to the electrical grid through an inverter and metering equipment. Daytime Power: It generates electricity during the day and feeds excess power back into the grid. Night Limitation: However, it cannot supply power at night when the sun isn’t shining. Common for Urban Areas: On-grid systems are common in urban areas where grid access is reliable. 2. Off-Grid Solar System: Independent of Grid: An off-grid system does not connect to the grid. Battery Storage: It charges batteries during the day using solar panels. Nighttime Power: At night, it draws power from the battery bank. Ideal for Remote Locations: Off-grid systems are ideal for remote locations without grid access.
